CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW ALL MY CHILDREN AND ONE LIFE TO LIVE ARE COMING BACK
Kenya Moore is disgusting.
Phaedra is proud of her body and her ass. Kenya has engaged in the most disgusting form of fat shaming I have ever seen. Phaedra is the perfect example of a class act: I hope she let all Kenya’s words roll right off her.

I am not watching Hannibal, anon, and will not be. Partly because I don’t think I can enjoy any narrative where Faust is giving in not just to Mephistopheles, but the evil within him—and this is celebrated as a virtuous…
what the fuck really
Why would anyone admire Hannibal Lecter
Sure he is charming
because HE IS A SERIAL KILLER who uses artificial charm to his advantage
He is a monster.
And I think it is the fault of the way society likes its relatable serial killers (Hannibal, dexter, etc), not necessarily that the shows send that message
A Profile of Americans’ Media Use and Political Socialization Effects: television and the Internet’s relationship to social connectedness in the USA ― Daniel German & Caitlin Lally
There are more “non-humans” on TV than women. Talk about unequal gender representation in the media.

there is such a big difference in quality between the daily show and the colbert report it’s insane.

My two other favorite parts:
“I’m not saying I have to struggle to pay the rent like Lena Dunham’s character, Hannah, but there was a point, right before Judd cast me in Freaks and Geeks, when my parents cut me off because I wanted to go to acting school instead of UCLA. I worked at McDonalds, and my first suggestion to Hannah would be this: get a fucking job. If you really want to have experiences to write about, go to work; and if you really want to be an artist, take responsibility for yourself and wait some tables. You might mature a little in the process.”

“Lena is the ultimate creator, so no matter what she puts the girls through, she is always in control. Her name is always at the end, where it says “Created by.” They say living well is the best revenge, but sometimes writing well is even better.”

Well, shit. It got even better.

Hawaii 50 The New version. Not nearly as good when Jack Lord lead 5 0
my dad would scream if he ever saw this. he’s refused to ever watch this show because he sees it as an insult to the original, which is his favorite show of all time. and i have to say i agree. the intro itself isn’t nearly as well-made or intense or cool as the original.
Things I need to watch:
i may possibly get some heat for this, but i just need to let everyone know that there is a dating website called “blackpeoplemeet.com” and it is being advertised on national TV…are you kidding me? GOD FORBID if anyone decided to create a website called…
Every single other dating site advertised on national TV features white people, and maybe a token PoC. Pretty much every other dating site IS whitepeoplemeet.com.

MEET ONCE UPON A TIME’S MULAN
Don’t expect to see Mulan in her geisha getup when we first meet Disney’s warrior princess in Once Upon a Time’s September 30 premiere. She’ll be armored up and battle-ready.
“I go on a journey with Prince Phillip to find his princess, Aurora,” teases Mulan’s portrayer, Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch). “There’s this evil spirit that’s moving and my character ends up bonding with Sleeping Beauty. And as you’ve heard, Captain Hook is joining us.”
So might sword overpower hook? “Definitely,” says Chung, who mastered her sword-wielding skills on ABC Family’s Samurai Girl. “If you compare the size and length of my sword to his hook, who do you think has the longer reach?”
